Adoptive Parents

Bridge Meadows is a unique opportunity for parents wanting to adopt children from the foster care system or become a legal guardian. We understand how difficult the prospect can be and we are here for your support. Families who live at Bridge Meadows adopt at least 3 children from the foster care system within a 5 year period. The families who live here all experience some of the same challenges and hardships, but at Bridge Meadows, there is a caring community poised to help. Elders in the Bridge Meadows community are seen as surrogate grandparents providing support, nurturance and care to children undergoing adoption from foster care. Adoptive families offer Elders a sense of connection and meaning.

Bridge Meadows is committed to the success of each adoptive family. To help families achieve this, the community offers mental health, educational, recreational and supportive services. We are in close proximity to Columbia Park and University Park Community Center, which all provide an array of educational and recreational activities for families.
